Associate Professor Song Yubo

My name is Song Yubo, I was born in 1975 in Shandong provice.In 2005, I got my Phd in Chinese intellectual history from Northwest University, Xi'an China.

My academic interests are mainly concentrated in Chinese buddhism and Neo-Confucianism, also I am interested in environmental philosophy.

Since 2007, I have translated three books with my wife,these books are comprehensive works in contemporary studies in environmental philosophy.The first book is Contemporary Environmental Ethics(written by professor Peter Wenz), the second book is Environmental Justice(written also by professor Peter Wenz),the last book is Modern Envirentalism:an Introduction(written by professor David Pepper).All of them are published by Shanghai People's publishing house in simplified Chinese.

In 2012, I published my first book Research on the Development and Transformation of Chinese Buddhism(published by Shaanxi People's publishing house).

I expect advices from and communications with friends interested in Buddhism and environmental philosophy.
